Paediatric Physiotherapist
Jason is our main intensive physiotherapist at Moore Intensive Therapy Studio! Jason also works across both Tasma House and the Moore Intensive Therapy Studio, where he provide individual physiotherapy sessions tailored to each child’s needs. Jason completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in New Zealand and have a strong passion for helping children of all ages reach their full potential. Jason loves supporting children to grow in confidence, develop new skills, and build greater independence in their everyday lives.
My Approach
Jason is very excited to be part of the team at the Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre. In his practice, he combines manual therapy techniques, play-based therapy, and family-centred care to make therapy both engaging and effective. His focus is on creating tailored treatment plans and building strong partnerships with families to best support each child’s unique journey. Jason is DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention) Trained - Level A.
As an APA member in paediatrics, he is committed to ongoing professional growth. He is certified in dry needling and plans to further develop his skills through courses such as APA Observational Gait Analysis, Introduction to Paediatric Disability, and programs offered at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Jason has always loved all kinds of sports, and in his free time enjoys staying active and spending quality time with friends and family. At home, he also has a Papillon, who has been his loyal companion for the past 10 years.

Paediatric Physiotherapist
Julia work across both clinics at Tasma House and Moore Intensive Therapy Studio where she sees children for individual sessions. Julia enjoys working with babies, children, adolescents and their families to create goals that are meaningful for them, especially throughout the intensive therapy program.
My Approach
Julia is keen to assist children of all abilities to make positive changes to children's lives using techniques practiced at Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre. She also using a variety of techniques and equipment to deliver individualised physiotherapy programs to children of all abilities. Julia partakes in ongoing professional development to support her evidence-based practice. The following are a few highlights:
Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Julia is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the National Paediatric Group.

Director and Principal Neurological & Paediatric Physiotherapist
Mary-Anne founded Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre in 1990 and Moore Intensive Therapy Studio in 2021. She has over 30 years of experience as a neurological and paediatric physio so she is also very familiar with the services and supports families may need in the Greater Melbourne Area. Mary-Anne has a special interest in supporting accessible healthcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
My Approach
Mary-Anne combines a variety of research-backed assessments and physio techniques to achieve results. Mary-Anne's approach is shaped by her extensive experience of over 30 years with children. The following are a few highlights:
Mary-Anne earned her post-graduate degree in Health Research Methods for Physiotherapy. Mary-Anne's approach is constantly developing as an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Paediatric Physiotherapy National Group and the Neurological Physiotherapy National Group. Paediatric Physiotherapist
Sonia is an experienced paediatric Physiotherapist who works part-time with children at our Tasma House clinic. Sonia has a special interest in disability sport inclusion, infants as well as neurological and genetic conditions. Sonia also works part-time supporting children at Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital.
My Approach
Sonia takes a family-centered approach to make a meaningful impact on a kid's everyday life. She utilises a variety of physiotherapy techniques, assistive technology, motivational strategies, and has learnt some basic Auslan (Australian Sign Language). Sonia's evidence-based approach has blossomed from the ongoing professional development she has completed. The following are a few highlights:
Sonia graduated from LaTrobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice. Sonia's practice is constantly developing as an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Paediatric Physiotherapy National Group.

Sonia loves to travel and learn about other countries and cultures. She has lived in Fiji working in a school and has provided physio to kids in Vietnam. She enjoys being active and plays cricket, volleyball, and dances.

Turning play into progress - Syeda is an experienced physiotherapist with over five years of clinical experience and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. She brings strong expertise in paediatric physiotherapy, with a background spanning rehabilitation services across neurological, musculoskeletal, and developmental conditions.
My Approach
Syeda takes a play-based and family-focused approach to therapy. She is guided by evidence-based practice and is passionate about creating sessions that are both effective and enjoyable for children. She values collaboration with families and other health professionals, ensuring therapy fits seamlessly into each child’s daily life.
Syeda has worked extensively within multidisciplinary hospital teams, as well as in Melbourne-based community paediatric settings. She has honed her skills in hydrotherapy, equipment prescription, community outreach, and in-clinic treatment programs. Her passion lies in empowering children and their families, supporting them to achieve meaningful goals and thrive in their everyday activities.

Outside of work, Syeda enjoys exploring Melbourne with her little ones, discovering new parks and cafés, and capturing moments through photography. She values creativity, kindness, and celebrating the small steps that lead to big achievements.

Paediatric Physiotherapist
Nimble, who also goes by Nim, is a physiotherapist working at Tasma House and the Moore Intensive Therapy Studio. Since graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree, he began by working with older adults, before specialising in neurological physiotherapy. Nimble followed his interest in paediatrics to the Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre, as he finds it very meaningful to help a child live as full and happy a life as possible.
My Approach
Nimble believes in using play-based therapy to support children and their families, including hydrotherapy. He always strives to incorporate exercises into a child’s daily routine, school life, and playtime. Nimble uses a range of equipment, techniques, and strategies during his sessions, and focuses on exercises and movement that help someone fulfill their functional goals. He has worked closely with the NDIS throughout his career, and is knowledgeable about the importance of adaptive equipment, support worker education, and adequate family support to give a client the best quality of life.

A Little More About Me
Outside of work, Nimble enjoys many creative hobbies, such as crochet and singing in a choir. On the weekend, you can usually find him with an iced coffee in hand at the local op shop, trying to find the most colourful thing in the store.

Practice Manager
Nurlan manages all aspects of the operations, finance, and human resources at Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre and Moore Intensive Therapy Studio. She also is our social group organiser. Her dream is to continue our social group for our young adult clients and help them to form close friendships and bonds between each other.
My Experience
Nurlan is very experienced in caring for a kid and young adult with extra medical needs as a parent and a service provider. Nurlan's daughter has required extra supports, including physio since she was six years old. As a result, Nurlan understands the complexities of our healthcare system as well as the NDIS and TAC funding systems. She also understands the bliss of seeing your kid achieve small wins. Nurlan has made it her mission to provide the highest quality of care at our clinic. The key components this involves are:
A Little More About Me
Nurlan loves to do puzzles, go for walks with her dog and bake. She also enjoys a chat over cake, coffee and/or tea! Naturally, Nurlan also organises our Biggest Morning Tea event.

Executive Assistant
Celeste's main role is answering telephone enquiries and booking appointments for clients at reception. She helps out our practice manager with operations at Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre and Moore Intensive Therapy Studio.

Celeste is the newest member of the administration team here at the Paediatric Physiotherapy Centre.
She is here to help make your visits as smooth and stress-free as possible, whether it’s answering questions, scheduling appointments, or offering to listen and support.
A Little More About Me
I feel honoured to have this position as it has fuelled my passion for Allied Health and all its avenues. I began working here as I would love to begin my journey into the Allied Health Field, and I found this was the perfect place to start! Outside my role in administration, I am a qualified Allied Health Assistant in both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy and am furthering my passion by also currently studying to become an Occupational Therapist. I’m excited to continue to be a part of this amazing team and look forward to meeting you at your next visit!
I love to travel to different places and experience new cultures and spend my time laying out in the sun whenever I can- the beach is one of my favourite places! I’m a huge foodie, , you’ll find me trying new cuisines or revisiting childhood restaurants. I’m always on the lookout for hidden gems, so if you know of any great places to eat, feel free to share!
